When is ski season in Chile?
Chilean resorts typically operate June–September. Our 2026 camps run July 26 – August 14 at Valle Nevado, during peak snow conditions in the Andes.
Who is this camp for?
Motivated intermediate to expert skiers who want to improve carving and on-piste technique. It is not designed for never-evers or children’s learn-to-ski programs.
What is included in USD 4,990?
6 days of coaching with Bartek Tyrpa, Carv 2 loan, daily video review, private or shared apartment at Valle Nevado (subject to availability), 6-day lift pass, and round-trip transport Santiago ↔ Valle Nevado. Not included: international flights, travel insurance, meals (except as available at resort restaurants), and hotels in Santiago city.
What is the Carv device?
Carv 2 is a boot-strap sensor with motion AI that gives real-time audio feedback and Ski:IQ scores. Each camper receives a loan unit for the full camp; devices are returned at the end. Retail value ~USD 299 — included as part of the program.
How do I get from Santiago to Valle Nevado?
Valle Nevado is about 46 km from Santiago. Camp transfers are included. Most international guests fly into Santiago International Airport (SCL). Plan to arrive at least one day before camp starts. See our travel guide.
How many people per group?
Maximum 6 skiers per camp — this keeps coaching quality high and allows daily personalized video feedback.
What language is coaching?
Instruction is primarily in English. Bartek also supports skiers in Spanish and Portuguese.
Do I need my own ski equipment?
Bring your own boots if possible for best fit with Carv. Skis can be rented at Valle Nevado. Pack layers for high altitude (3,025 m) — sun and wind protection are essential.
